The Emma Press is launching a poetry anthology about animals, titled Some Cannot Be Caught: The Emma Press Book of Beasts, edited by Anja Konig and Liane Strauss.
The Emma Press launches call for poems on illness
The Emma Press is launching a call for poems on the topic of illness. The call opens on 11th July 2018 and ends on 31st August 2018. Poets are invited to send in up to 3 poems on the topic of illness to be considered for an anthology launching in April 2019. The anthology will be edited by Amy Mackelden and Dylan Jaggard.
New picture book by Latvian rising star of illustration published in English
The Emma Press has launched Queen of Seagulls, a picture book for children by award-winning Latvian writer-illustrator Rūta Briede. To support the publication, Rūta will be visiting in the UK to take part in a number of events for young readers. Please see below for full details.
