It was a mammoth task, but I felt very grateful to everyone who sent in their manuscript, wanting to be part of The Emma Press. I’ll be reading the children’s collection shortlist with poet Edward van de Vendel now, and the adults’ pamphlet on my own still. I look forward to reading all the full manuscripts and seeing what the future list of The Emma Press looks like!’
