Announcing the Long Listed Proposals: August 2023 Call for Submissions
We are excited to announce the longlisted submissions from our August 2023 open call requesting poetry and prose pamphlets for adults and poetry & fiction for children.
Thank you to all the writers who submitted for trusting us with your work, and congratulations to the longlisted authors.
In this call we received over 500 submissions across genres which made the longlisting process especially challenging, and the achievement for each of the authors even greater.
Our newly established Birmingham Editorial Readers Group will be assisting our team to create a final shortlist and decide on the book/s The Emma Press will publish next. In the meantime, we’d like to celebrate the longlisted authors!
