Myths and Monsters: A Children’s Poetry Tour

Myths-and-Monsters trainingIn July-November 2015, we travelled around the UK with Myths and Monsters, a series of poetry readings and workshops themed around ‘Myths and Monsters’ and aimed at children aged 8+.  The events included poems, interactive storytelling and poetry-writing workshops, and featured poets from our new anthology Falling Out of the Sky. We visited libraries, galleries, schools and festivals. This tour was made possible by a grant from Grants for the Arts, supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

You can view some photos from our training workshops for the poets here.

The tour is over now, but we can still take bookings for children’s poetry events featuring our poets. For any queries about bookings, please email Emma at queries [at] theemmapress [dot] com
