Description
MarĂa JosĂ© Ferrada’s poems are charmingly playful, speaking directly to the reader with no shadow of a doubt that they are ready for these fantastical linguistic adventures. Azul LĂłpez’s textural, hand-drawn illustrations complement the dreamy tone of the poems and add in room for further interpretations, while Lawrence Schimel’s translation from the Spanish deftly communicates the wry tone and musicality.
